Join us for a day of listening and connection with the gods and with each other. We will invite you into a paradigm where the stories and symbols of the gods make deep philosophies directly accessible to everyone and that reminds us to see every person and situation as an expression of the divine.
We will begin the day with a talk with Laura, Manoj, you, and any gods that want to join us. Next, an accessible yoga practice to land in yourself and open to connection and breath. Lunch will be provided. The afternoon will begin with mantra to drop into the bhav. Then, a guided process supporting you to work with whatever is present in your healing, expansion, and growth. This will include connecting with the divine within yourself, with other humans in the group and with the murtis in Manoj’s temple. We will then do a full session of the consciously connected breath.
Laura will guide you in a gentle form of breathwork, supporting you to welcome all experiences and to reclaim knowing beyond the boundaries of your mind. This divine feminine form of the breath reminds us of the heart's capacity to open to everything as it is. Learning this capacity of the heart is the true nectar. We will enter the divine through the doorway of the personal, human heart and whatever is present in this moment. This practice is a means to direct experience of yoga and remembering that divinity is your true nature.
Please join us and dance with truth and life directly. See what the gods want to express to you and through you.

About Dr. Manoj Chalam
(It’s true. He actually does have Pickleball.)
Manoj (people call him a spiritual standup comedian) uses an uniquely entertaining, interactive story telling style using Hindu/Buddhist deities in his workshops to illuminate Bhakti practices as well as deep non dual philosophy. He teaches at festivals, yoga events, his ashram and whoever wants to listen.
Manoj uses these deity archetypes to help people in their hero’s journey as elucidated by Joseph Campbell and Carl Jung. An Indian-born scientist with a PhD in Chemical engineering from Cornell University, Manoj helps individuals find their archetypes in Hindu/Buddhist Yogic deities and teaches the 5 practices to work with their archetype as a spiritual practice. He has also compiled a book on the symbolisms of these deity archetypes.
Manoj is in the business of story telling to inspire people. He has many you tube videos with deity statues as a compelling media to tell stories. Manoj was interviewed by the Ram Dass foundation for their podcast on "The Deities". Manoj has created an “online ashram” under Patreon. Under Murtis and Vedanta Youtube Chanel.
Manoj teaches workshops at a physical ashram in his home in San Diego called Sakhya Bhava Ashram (where the divine is your friend). Manoj’s workshops are usually 70% lecture/group exercises, 15% archetypical deity yoga meditations, 10% Mantra chantings and 5% light spiritual stretches.

About Laura Fuller
Laura Fuller, M.A., C.Ht., S.E.P. is a somatic therapist, yogi, dancer, and writer. She has worked with people through their bodies and souls for more than twenty-five years. Laura brings a deep reverence for the human journey; respect for the times when we walk through the underworld and also for the times of flourishing. Coming from a non-dual somatic perspective, she believes in listening to the wisdom of the body and the power and magic of emotions. She is dedicated to bringing these feminine aspects into the teaching of yoga, meditation, and spirituality. This includes helping these forms come out of old paradigms of separation, hierarchy, and control.
Laura has a BA from UCLA in World Arts & Cultures with Emphasis in Dance, and an MA in Counseling Psychology with Emphasis in Depth from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She is also a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, and Breathwork therapist. Her Western psychology roots include Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell, Carl Rodgers, & Milton Erickson. Her current psychology teachers are Peter Levine, Richard Schwartz, and Esther Perel. Plus all her current teachers and supporters in other lineages of healing, living, and art. Laura’s most valuable training comes through working with people - deepening listening, and learning what is needed moment by moment.
Laura came to yoga with a mystical disposition and in her own deconstruction from high-control religion and high-control movement training. Finding many of the expressed philosophies of yoga to contain some of the same problems that she was seeking alternative to, she embarked on a path of reclaiming understanding of the goodness and wisdom of the earth, body, emotions, and humanity within yoga and healing. Along the way, she has found many who are devoted, loving and sincere - including Manoj. Laura has hung out with Manoj for more than a decade. Sometimes – spiritual comedy – always deep. This will be their first time guiding together.
The movement is towards wholeness, sovereignty, connection, compassion, and deep embrace. Laura’s classes and groups are grounded in understandings of trauma, humanity, deep listening, and in our ability to heal through wise connection to our body, soul, earth, and infinity.
