New Vision Day Long

Join us for a day of yoga, breathwork, meditation, and talking to envision the new year. January is the threshold of the new year. Let's take this time to integrate all we have learned, clear our eyes, and envision something new.

Equinox Day Long Retreat

Turning Towards the Light
Saturday, March 16th
9:30 am - 5:30 pm at a private residence in Malibu

Let's land together in a day of contemplation to mark this first quarter of the year. As darkness and light come into balance, we turn towards the light. We will do this by listening to the subtle cues of the heart. Connecting to ourselves and moving intuitively from inner and outer listening. We will do yoga, meditation, breathwork, council circles and reflection. We will explore our participation with nature and continue to breathe into our desires.

Yoga Basics/Introduction to Yoga

These workshops provide a way to begin for those just starting out and a deepened understanding for those who have been practicing for a while. Beginners can start their journey grounded in a personal understanding of yoga and feel more comfortable navigating all the different styles and brands of yoga out there today. Each workshop has a different theme, so you can come again and again to consider life and practice in different ways.

New dates coming soon. Please contact Laura if you would like to arrange a group for your studio or for a group of friends.

Thursday February 15th 6:30 - 8:00 pm*
Self-Love & Forgiveness
We will use the power of the heart to come back to ourselves and continue on our journeys. Often, if we are stuck, there is something of the heart that must first be heard and healed. Whether your medicine is forgiveness, compassion, self-kindness, self-love, an honoring of grief, or revising an old wound, community, breath, and music will support you.

Thursday March 15th 6:30 - 8:00 pm*
Possibility
Our subconscious predicts what is possible for the future based on what we have experienced in the past. Yet, the soul has the feeling that there must be more. We will look at the beliefs we've been carrying from past experience and use the technique of the consciously connected breath to breathe in more health and goodness beyond what we could have imagined before.

Connection

In what ways are you seeking deeper connection? A spiritual idea says that we are always connected to everything we need. Yet, as life unfolds, there are certain connections that we need to rebuild and reclaim. Connection to yourself, connection to others, connection to the divine, connection to the ancestors, connection to resources–what is calling for you? In this circle, we will explore what sorts of connections are desired and release any barriers that might stand in the way. There is often a fear that dramatic changes are needed externally in order for us to get the connection we desire, but it is more often that the change needed is a more subtle shift from within. Through the consciously connected breath, we will amplify a space of love and release any barriers within our own hearts that used to keep us in separation.

Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 pm • Gentle Yoga, Restoratives & Meditation

This class combines gentle movement, restorative poses, slow stretches, pranayama, relaxation and meditation. All levels are welcome–including beginners and those looking to heal the body and nervous system. Gentle movement gets the breath flowing and empties out the stress of the day. Restorative poses create a deep sense of support and safety, helping the body learn to relax and recharge. Pranayama and meditation connect you to your own center and infinite renewal. Come connect with sweet community and rest in the gentleness that always surrounds you.

Sunday 10:30 AM - 12:00 • All Levels Yoga & Meditation

All levels are welcome to come connect with their breath, their own sense of the divine, and to each other. A full practice is offered: flow, stretches, finishing poses, pranayama, meditation and shavasana and each individual is invited to do just what feels good to them. There is a lightness and sweetness to this Sunday morning practice. Together, we create a space of compassion, welcoming of whatever arises, and understanding that grace is always there.

Monday 6:30 - 8:00 pm • Gentle Yoga & Meditation

Monday class is sweet sangha (community). We begin with a check in where each individual can share what they would like, followed by a brief exploration of yogic principles or philosophies. Then, gentle movement, poses, pranayama, relaxation and meditation. All levels are welcome. This class provides a great foundation for beginners to find their way in the poses, philosophy, and breath. Movement and poses accessible to all levels are used to get the breath and energy flowing. Come together and start the week with intention.

Monday 8:00 - 9:20 pm • Flow & Meditation

Flow yoga plus, stillness, &  meditation in a style that emphasizes inner yoking and the reality of healing for the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. At the end of the day, integrate the good, release what is done, and return to inner alignment. This class is designed to let you come as you are, enter the present moment, and explore what is possible. Flow is taken as the practice of presence and surrender within the action of life. Instruction will be given to help you find your personal place in the practice and some parts of this class include less guidance, allowing the individual to rest within. Come play, go deep, and be ready for a sweet sweat.

Wednesday Morning 8:00 - 9:15 AM • Yoga & Meditation

All levels are welcome to this sweet morning practice. It is a beautiful way to start the day. We will enter the stillness and silence of the morning, landing consciousness in the heart and breath. There will be movement, pranayama,  and chanting–all to bring us into meditation and get the energy flowing for the day.

Friday 7:00 - 8:30 pm • All Levels Yoga & Restoratives

AKA "Freaky Friday" is the perfect way to end your week. Play, laugh, cry, connect, or rest deep inside yourself–this class is both light-hearted and deep. We will start with movement, poses, and flow where people of all levels of experience are encouraged to work in a way that feels good to them. Variations are given for challenge and ease. We will finish with restorative poses, rest and meditation. Come as you are, get what you need, and finish the week in gratitude and release.
